Hello and welcome!

My name is Philippe and I’m a chartered physiotherapist, passionate about how the mind-body connection can support you to heal and thrive.

In 2013, I began my studies in University College Dublin after a childhood exploring movement in all its forms - from rugby, to surfing and dance. During my studies I discovered yoga & meditation which profoundly influenced the way I continued my studies of movement and healing, leading me to complete over 1000 hours of study in the fields of yoga and meditation.

I’ve worked in multiple settings across Ireland, India, Belgium, Greece and Costa Rica, empowering clients with the tools they need to restore our natural capacity for mental and physical well-being.

I do not simply treat symptoms, I work with whole human beings through an integrative approach that is trauma-informed and draws from the fields of traditional physiotherapy, pain neuroscience, and psychology.

I am also currently in my final months of completing a training in "Compassionate Inquiry", a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr Gabor Maté who is a world-leading voice in healing trauma.

It's important to feel you are in safe hands, which is why Philippe is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists as well as being registered with CORU, the Irish statutory regulator of health and social care professionals.

But what is a Chartered Physiotherapist?

A Chartered Physiotherapist is a university graduate with hospital-based training who has comprehensive knowledge of how the body works, along with specialist training in the diagnosis and treatment of muscle and joint pain. As chartered physiotherapists undergo a medical based degree, they are competent in detecting serious illness in the early stages and in identifying when further investigations are necessary.

When you choose a physiotherapist who is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered physiotherapists (ISCP), you’ll enjoy the peace of mind of knowing that they are a part of Ireland’s only professional body within its field. It is your guarantee that they have been trained to the highest academic and professional standards – and also that they continue to keep abreast of emerging trends and developments through a programme of Continuous Professional Development.

The Society is the only association in Ireland recognised by the World Confederation of Physical Therapy. It provides a strong, unified voice for the profession, and regularly speaks out on issues involving the role and responsibilities of physiotherapists – either within private practice or as part of the national health system.
